Here’s fresh sushi with an irresistibly fresh twist: build an enterprise designed to create jobs for under-employed immigrants and to feed one orphan for each tray of sushi sold. That’s a vision we could get behind, so we helped build the Anu Sushi brand from the ground up. We started with the logo and identity system, then worked on brand voice and messaging, including a central positioning statement: “Sushi and purpose. Rolled into one.” Finally, we designed a website, a kit of consumer-facing POP tools, and a charming brand explainer video — all of which played a part in this young startup’s quick adoption into several impressive commercial foodservice channels.
