The University of Illinois is a Big Ten school with a rich history of achievement and innovation. With 23 Nobel Laureates and 23 Pulitzer Prize winners among their alumni, they have an incredible story to tell. U of I also boasts alumni who are shaping modern culture, like the inventors of YouTube, PayPal, and other notable innovations. GMG was asked to develop a campaign theme — one big enough to ripple through all possible touchpoints with their audience. We landed on “The Power of I,” which perfectly balances the proud history, cutting-edge breakthroughs, and the talent and tenacity of each individual student.
